Constitutional Amendment

If I had to add a new amendment to the constitution I would say that the really good teachers and are great at their job should get a larger salary and be recognized for their achievements. I know I had some great teachers and made class fun, for example Ms. McGuyrt. She is a tremendous teacher and should be recognized  for her work she is doing in students lives. There are a lot of good teachers in schools who deserve more then what they are getting.

If I could believe again.

If I could still believe in something from my childhood, I would still believe in the Easter Bunny and Santa Claus. Every Christmas and Easter I would be so excited. I thought I was so special because I would get early presents and letters from Santa.

Internal Beauty and External Appearance

There are lots of people in the world who act really big on the outside but when it comes down to it they are a different person on the inside. However then there are some other people who act really little on the outside but are big on the inside and haven't shown their real potential of what they can do. In some situations I think physical appearances can sometimes relate to personality but then you can be wrong about them, you never judge a book by it's cover. If my internal beauty was directly related to my external appearance then i think sometimes i can be big on the outside and little on the inside. But then other times i think i can be little on the outside but then big on the inside.

Saver or Spender?

I believe that there is a mixed variety of people in my generation that save and spend. A lot of people spend almost all of their money once they get it, and that may be okay for now because we don't have to worry about saving a lot and paying bills. However, then there is people who save their money and don't waste it once they get it. In this article, it stated a lot of research that scientists did to show people that instant gratification isn't really worth it.

My tribes

I belong to many different tribes, I belong to the tribe of band geeks, being involved with my church and youth group, getting good grades in school, and the tribe of teenage girls. I am also in the tribe of fashion, I love trying new looks but not being too crazy with them. Another tribe I think I am involved in is just trying to find myself and who i really am. Everyone has a wide variety of tribes, and all of them together make them, them.

Extrovert or an Introvert

I think i am an extrovert, because i love to spend time with my family, friends and people who make me laugh. I personally believe that they both can be easy and challenging. Nobody gets everything easy in life. If everyone was an extrovert then there would be a lot of people who won't alone and will get a lot of to go their way. If the world was full of introverts then there would be a lot of people just having a good time in their small groups of friends. I think they both can be good teachers, leaders, writers and neighbors. Everyone has the potential to be any thing they put their mind to.

Life Law 9 and Foregiveness

"To be really free, you have to really forgive."
When you forgive someone you have to really mean it because if you don't then it doesn't do any good for yourself. You will still have that anger built up inside of you, of whatever the situation was that made you not want to forgive them the right way. That is not forgiving someone it is just changing your words of all your frustration against that person. To forgive someone doesn't do anything for that person but it does so much for you because it gives you the chance to be free from all of your bitterness that you have inside of you and it is your choice.

Perceptions

Your perception that you have of the world is how you see it, but you have the choice to change it. As you walk around you may see a lot of things but if you change your perception you can see everything entirely different than you did before. You can go around seeing things that only have to do with you or how people think of you and seeing things like that can make your life better and it can also make it worse. You are the only one who can control how you see things in the world and it is your responsibility to look at all of the perspectives so you can see other people's point of view.

Thought for the day

"Take action today so you don't miss your windows of opportunity"
You may be sitting around wishing you could have a certain something or that certain someone in your life, but if you don't take action now or in the right moment you will never get it. Whatever you want in life is not just going to come to you on a silver platter you have to work for it and take action now or it might be too late later in life. You shouldn't be scared to take action either because if your too scared and wait until later everything will have changed.

Miracles

I chose the poem Miracles by Walt Whitman because in the poem it is listing normal every day things that happen and that people do. It is saying that all of these things are miracles and some of these simple things are miracles because some day they might not happen or we won't be able to do any of these simple things anymore. Even the simplest and smallest things can be miracles.

Walt, Poetry and more poetry

Walt Whitman is a famous poet, essayist and journalist and obviously wrote poetry. He is a romanticist because he emphasized on nature and went more in depth with his writings. My favorite poem was "Poets to Come" because of what it is saying. What i got out of it is that people can do anything they want to if they put their minds to it and if people do that then there is going to be a lot of great and successful people in this world.

Working Children

I think it is a good idea for some teenagers to have a job while they are still students. Having a job will teach the teenager a lot of qualities that they will need later in life. They will learn to be responsible for their duties they have to complete for the job. It also teaches them that you have to work for things that you want in life, instead of asking their parents for money all of the time they can get a job and work for it and have money for themselves.

Sophomore Year

So far this year has been going great for me, i have my friends in almost all of my classes and i made some new one. I came in ready to challenge myself for the big leap from last year to this year. My goals are to become more independent and get done with all of my work on time and pass everything with outstanding achievements.
